Funny reading this, the club's website is almost as bad as ClaretandHugh.

Dicksie,

Calm down chicken, the caps hurt my old eyes.

Last years CFs Arnie, Little Pea(Big wage packet) and Perez

This years CFs: Haller, Silva, (Admittedly ill and a risk) and Ajeti

Re: Javier Hernandez hands in transfer request
Its not what a club spends it what the club spend it on in just over just over 1 season since we had MP (The project began when he became manager)
Fabianski ,
Balbeuna
Diop
Fredricks
Anderson
Sanchez
Yarmolenko
Fornals
Silva
Haller
Wilshire
Ajeti

Much better additions than those who were sold. Unless you want to do a Leeds or Blackburn we need to balance the books

Upton Park or Next Level

If you look at Chelsea supporters many of you who post on here would be the same as them not happy with a Europa cup final after winning the Champions league in 2012

I remember the days of the Cairns and Brown and then the Biscuit Baron, only to West Ham could that happen

SQUAD?! WHAT FUCKING SQUAD?! WE’VE GOT A STARTING XI, A DECENT ONE AT THAT, AND THAT’S IT!

TWO OR THREE INJURIES; WE’RE FUCKED AND A LOWER MID-TABLE TEAM AT BEST.

THAT’LL DO THE CHEAPSKATE DICKHEADS THOUGH.

Re: Javier Hernandez hands in transfer request
We have gone from our three CF with an average age of 30 and the main striker having his nose put badly out of joint by cover being paid more than him (And everyone else)
the back up being talented but lacking in pace and stroppy because he wasn't number one .
To a three CF with and average age of 23 all being new, hungry with room to develop.

Time will tell if that is genuine progress but at least we are doing things differently and not being Pay day central for those coming off of the peak of their talent curve.

Not drinking the owners Kool-Aid here but sort of feel that they are damned if they do etc with some people.

MUST BE A PATHETIC £10M OR THEREABOUTS NOW?

Irrelevant. What matters is that we have a better, happier and balanced squad now than we did in May. And we do. I'd rather see the owners hang on to our real talent by awarding better contracts as they indeed have with Rice, Lanzini etc. It's not how much we spend that matters, it's having a proper recruitment and retention strategy. Dead wood and overpaid prima donnas may make up the numbers but they hold back the team.

“Not sure why people are upset.”

ERM, PERHAPS HAVING JUST TWO STRIKERS TO SELECT FROM - ONE OF WHOM IS COMPLETELY UNTESTED AT THIS LEVEL - IS A GOOD ENOUGH REASON AS TO BE COMPLETELY FUCKED OFF.

THAT AND A FUCKING CHARLTON ATHLETIC-LIKE NET SPEND OF NO MORE THAN £15M WITH A SQUAD AS THIN AS A FUCKING CATWALK MODEL.

WE ARE AN INJURY OR TWO AWAY FROM A CRISIS SITUATION. AND, WITH OUR HISTORY, THAT WILL HAPPEN.

An overpaid, lazy, arrogant, lump that got us a few goals.

Fuck the cunt.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT OUR APPROXIMATE NET SPEND IS NOW AFTER THE PERVY OLD CHEAPSKATE IDIOT DICKHEAD WANKER CUNT OWNERS HAVE TROUSERED MORE CASH AND DEPLETED OUR SQUAD FURTHERMORE?

MUST BE A PATHETIC £10M OR THEREABOUTS NOW?

eusebiovic:

I agree. He obviously didn't want to warm the bench and when he handed a transfer request in Pell obviously thought we may as well let him go rather than stink the place out.

Not sure why people are slating the owners as they wouldn't have got rid of him against Pell's wishes.

I am with you, I think we have more than enough to cope. It's just our bloody luck that Antonio got injured when he did as he would've been perfect cover for Haller / Arjeti.

We will be fine.

Re: Javier Hernandez hands in transfer request
I know our owners are cheapskates but they will be gone sooner rather than later...

Last year after the debacle at Wimbledon I knew Pell decided there and then who he wanted to get rid of. Him and Husillos had faces like thunder. He has got rid of most of the chaff.

The squad is smaller but does have more quality and if you pay for good younger players the chances are they will stay fit rather than signing injury prone ones on a free because they were good once upon a time or never fulfilled their so called potential.

It's better to sign 2-3 good players every summer than 7-8 mediocre ones with a scattergun approach

How you came to the conclusion he looks excellent on the same evidence baffles me.

first competitive game for the club and linked up well with team mates.

His run was key to fornals scoring, dragged 3 players onto him allowing fornals an easy finish

I saw, him give it away a few times at least, not saying he's not a good player because of it as too early to judge.

How you came to the conclusion he looks excellent on the same evidence baffles me.
